Eliminated Tests
Effective with the 2009-10 school year, Senate Bill 202 eliminates funding for most state administered tests that are not currently required by federal law or as a condition of federal grants. These tests include the following:

  • Computer Skills,
  • Chemistry End-of-Course,
  • Physics End-of-Course,
  • Reading and Mathematics Competency, and
  • Grade 3 Reading and Mathematics Pretests.

Special Note: If you will be testing students using accommodations, you will need to submit the NPSTS Testing Students with Accommodations (new version coming soon) form prior to administering the test. For information about using accommodations, refer to the appropriate Test Administrator’s Manual and to the Testing Students with Disabilities document.

Calculators: Please check your Test Administrators Manual for specifics about which type of calculator may be used on certain tests. This chart should help you make that determination.
